CrunchyTalk's Information about 7UP:

7UP is liked by people for its unique lemon sweet taste. This carbonated drink was first introduced in 1929 with the name “Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda”. After that, it was renamed as “7Up Lithiated Lemon Soda”. Then the name was shortened to just “7Up” in 1936. Wow, That’s great! Now 7Up is available online ‘to buy from home’. The price of a 2.25 litre 7Up pack is Rs. 90. Also, the name of the character used in 7Up advertisements is “Fido Dido.” Did you watch the latest advertisement of 7up? The background music used is from the Kaasu Panam song of Tamil movie, Soodhu Kavvum. If not watch below:

How was 7UP delivered from Amazon?

I ordered a 2.25 litre 7Up from Amazon and had a chance to save Rs. 15 while purchasing. This 7Up came as one of many grocery items (which I have ordered). There was no ice pack to make it cool but it was fine at room temperature without any leak or damage. Then I kept it in a refrigerator for consumption. It was great, look at my taste experience at the end of this review.

Tip for online grocery consumers: Make sure to check the below noted points as soon as you get the parcel,

  1. Expiry date/manufacturing date
  2. Storage conditions
  3. whether the pack is puffed or leaked

Overall Experience:

Taste Rating

It is a little difficult to pour the 7Up from the big bottle as it weighs high. 7Up looks clear and the bubbles come out as soon as they are transferred to the glass. It tastes sweet with a little lime taste. Sipping It and allowing it to stay in the mouth gives a nice bubble sensation (carbonation). 7Up tastes so good that it makes me want more.
