Taste Experience of Snickers

Aww!! What a heavenly fragrance of chocolate and caramel aroma. I can also smell the peanuts. All these fragrances together tempt me for more chocolates. Chocolate aroma definitely attracts to eat the treat quickly.

Ok, come! Let’s have a look. The attractive chocolate is rectangular in shape, The top surface of the chocolate has a wave design which is slightly bulged and that might be due to the center filled ingredients, But the bottom of the chocolate has marks which is the impression of the mould, where the Snickers are  kept and has a closed design of waves.

Oh yeah!! The chocolate part is smooth to touch and the nuts emerge out, so that layer is quite rough. Now, we’ll break it into two halves, the chocolate is stuffed with peanuts and nougats, the caramel layer elongates like an elastic rubber band and it comes like a gum elastic. It consists of 3 parts, they are outer milk chocolate coating, caramel and nougat. Peanuts are present in the caramel.

Mhhmm!! The tasty treat, the chocolate is so smooth, in every bite, I could feel the taste of nougats, nuts and caramel. The nuts given are also crunchy. The combined taste provides a great feel in mouth. The caramel is sticky and also melts easily.

The taste of the Snickers satisfies the taste buds and the peanuts are retained in the mouth for a while. Honestly, it does satisfy hunger. Haha!!

Snickers ’s Ingredients

Snickers chocolate is made of a milk chocolate coating which is center filled with caramel, peanuts and nougat. Snickers ’s Packaging

We know, primary packaging acts as a barrier for the treat to prevent from moisture and damage. The pack also helps to keep the treat fresh. The recycle number mentioned here is 7 which indicates the ‘other’ category of packaging material.

The meaning for this symbol is a man throwing a pack into the dustbin. The consumers are requested to throw the wrappers in the dustbin.

This is the Green Dot symbol. This symbol is not used to indicate that the packaging material is recyclable. But, it indicates that the producer has made a contribution towards the recovery and recycling of packaging financially.

Other Breakdowns in Snickers

Do you love peanuts?? Yup!! Peanuts are healthy. I always consume them at home. How much peanuts are present in Snickers?
The chocolate contains about 20% of peanuts which is about 5 g of peanuts per 25 g of the Snickers bar. It is good but, What? Do we really need peanuts along with 12.45 g sugar from the Snickers (25 g)?
That is up to us, as a consumer, getting the goodness of the peanuts is packed up with 12.45 g of sugar. So basically, when we consume the Snickers, we eat nearly 2.5 g of sugar for every gram of peanut. But, it is a good product to have for hungry relief.

Product thereof, What does that mean?
Product thereof means other forms of the particular ingredient. For example say, Peanut thereof. It means that the product contains peanut and thereof means that the particular product can contain peanuts as well as the other parts of peanuts such as peanut shell or skin…

Did you notice the temperature mentioned?
It represents the storage temperature to give the best taste of Snickers. The chocolate has to be placed in a temperature of 18-22oC, which means a refrigerated condition is required to maintain the chocolate’s texture and structure otherwise it may melt and result in melted and collapsed state of the chocolate.
