Taste Experience of Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam
Kissan jam treat

So clear it’s a jam!! We use Kissan jam for bread, I also have it with biscuits.

You know I was being a goodie!! I opened the pack only as instructed, instantly when opened. I was able to get a whiff of the aroma. Since, it’s a mixed fruit jam the flavor was completely different. But aroma of berry fruit was strong. Maybe all the fruits mentioned are added for fruit blend and not as flavour, check my hidden truth section to know about this.

I squeezed the jam over a white sheet to know more about the nature of Kissan jam. Consistency was perfect i.e. the right thickness for spreading the jam, it was also attractive with blood reddish in look because of the denser black color by less light deeper inside the jam. The wave like lump formation was also good.

We love to touch the jam, but unfortunately we can’t spread it over without the help of spoons. It’s quite exciting when we carefully spread the jam over the bread without wasting any like an Engineer is keen about the measurements😜. And now, the treat is perfectly done and we are going to eat it 😋.

Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! We won’t have bread without jam, right? Would you? I wouldn’t. If you do, get around our comments. For the scene, I am eating the bread construction, with Kissan jam. First, the bread tastes bready so I skip the part quick to taste the Kissan jam. It is yummy and we can feel the mixed fruit blend taste i.e. sweetness of fruits. As you can see, taste variance is quite different. Kissan jam does give a unique mixed fruit sweet taste.

Delicious!! It gives a marvelous sweet taste filling our mouth with a rich or blend mixed fruit. Suddenly I had this doubt of whether the sweet taste comes from mixed fruit or sugar, so I decide to let you know in the Ingredients section.

Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam’s Ingredients

kissan jam ingredientsingredients of kissan jam

Source : Sugarcane
How : Sugarcane juice is extracted from sugarcane and is purified, filtered and undergoes the process of crystallisation to produce the final product sugar.
Why : Sugar is added to give sweetness to the jam. Do you know what sugar can do many roles? It is the main ingredient in Kissan jam i.e. gives structure to the jam. It also helps in proper gel formation and acts as a preservative.

Source : It consists of different pulps which are as follows:

  1. Banana pulp
  2. Papaya pulp
  3. Pear pulp
  4. Apple juice
  5. Pineapple juice
  6. Orange juice
  7. Mango pulp
  8. Grape juice

How : Before using a fruit, we wash it. Likewise, in industries they wash the fruits and peeling is done manually or by stream peeling method (We have to note something that 8 fruits are processed separately). Then they (in different places) are smashed to form pulp for banana, papaya, pear, mango and juices are extracted for apple, pineapple, orange, grape. Finally, blending leads to mixed fruit pulp.
Why : The mixed fruit pulp blend is added 46% i.e. it is also a main ingredient like sugar and gives structure and taste to the jam.

Source : Citrus Fruit peels (outer layer of the fruits)

  • E-330

Name : Citric acid

Why : Vitamin B3 is added to enhance the nutrition profile of Kissan jam and the work of vitamin B3 in our body is to convert energy from the food which we eat.
